The Pursuit of Enhancement Podcast
Welcome back everyone to the Pursuit of Enhancement Podcast.
Sorry that it’s been so long since I’ve had an episode. Life was a bit topsy turvy there for a while, we moved country again, we’re back in Australia. It’s taken us a while to get settled again. I wanted to wait until I could give the proper time to creating episodes before getting back into it, rather than pushing out something that was maybe substandard or that was adding to my stress to commit.
And that’s okay in life too. Just because we stop something for a while doesn’t mean we can’t pick it up again. So thanks for sticking around. Thanks for coming back to the podcast. So what’s in store for this Best of Episode?
Coming up I’ve selected extracts from a few of the episodes from this last season, perhaps they’ll encourage you to go back and listen to the episode again, perhaps there was a decision you made when you listened to these episodes of a positive change that you were going to make that maybe, you’ve lapsed on. This could be a chance to get it back on track. Whatever it may be I hope you enjoy this recap
First up we’ve got the light sisterz, Teairaand Dumebi.
In this clip they are talking about how they came to discover their spiritual gifts, pointing out that it takes time and patience to discover. While spiritual gifts may not be applicable or tangible to everyone I think the advice is applicable to everyone and that is not rushing it and allowing it to unfold over time. Next, we’ve got Katarina Riddle, in the full episode we talked about natural parenting and nature vs nurture. In this excerpt, Katarina tells us of the doubts that she had as she embarked on her natural parenting journey and also some of the techniques and concepts that she applied through here learning and research. Listen to the full episode here.
Our next clip is from Episode 39 with Wim Hof Method Instructor, Niall O’ Murchu, in it we’ll listen to Niall speak of his initial experiences with the cold, how breathing deeply can have a profound impact on our lives, how we feel on a day to day basis and how it better equips us to be able to handle the day to day stresses of life, it brings us back to ourselves and puts everything in perspective, Listen to the full episode here.
Then we’ll hear from Justin Caffrey, from Episode 40. In this piece he speaks about paring back our lives to a time when we truly felt happy and content, then finding steps to take so that we can return to that state again. This is the key to finding contentment and satisfaction in life. Listen to the full episode here.
We’ve got some clips from MovNat founder Erwan Le Corre, MovNat is a natural movement program and lifestyle aimed to reconnect us to our true nature of human beings by relearning the movements that make us the capable beings we are born to be. With simple changes we can quickly start to reclaim our vitality and to feel enlivened in a way that we may have forgotten or thought was lost forever. Listen to the full episode here.
Since we’re on the topic of rewilding and reconnecting it seems only right that next up should be Tony Riddle, aka The Natural Lifestylist. In September Tony ran the length of the UK barefoot. His mission is to reconnect us with our biological norms, our true nature, his motto is ‘We can’t all live in nature, but that doesn’t mean we can’t live more naturally.’ So let’s hear some of what Tony had for us. And that brings us to the end of today’s Best of 2019 episode. I hope you enjoyed this episode and all the episodes from this season.
I’ve already got some new episodes in the bag which I’ll be releasing in the New Year. I want to thank you again for listening and following me on Instagram.
I’d like to wish you all a happy holidays and a Happy New Year whatever that may be for you. Try to make some time to evaluate what this last year has taught you. What you want to bring into next year and also what you want to manifest and create for 2020. What do you want life to look like. What do you want to achieve. How do you want to feel in 2020?
Silence and isolation are brilliant for discovering these things. I know Christmas can be a busy and hectic time. But try to make time for yourself too.
