Quick Catch Up

To quickly summarise, Chris grew up as a normal healthy, active kid but by the end of high school had stopped being active and was at his heaviest weight of 235lbs or just over 100kg. At this point he was not only overweight but also a smoker, a partier, depressed, anxious and generally unhappy. He suffered with health issues such as indigestion, lack of quality sleep, feeling tired, bloated and fatigued. At 19 years of age he knew this just wasn’t right. he decided it was time to make a change and start putting things right again. He went to the doctor who prescribed medication but he knew there had to be a better way.

So he decided to undertake some research as to what might be beneficial in overcoming his anxiety. This was when he discovered the plant based diet and it’s ability to help alleviate the anxiety he was experiencing.

Flash forward 8 years he is now fit, healthy, depression and anxiety free, has quit smoking and drinking and hasn’t consumed animal products for over a year.

His transformation has been much more than just physical. This is his journey, who he chris pt 2.2was and who he is today. He no longer struggles with the self confidence to share his story.

  • More practicalities of transitioning to a plant based diet and small steps to help you make the change
  • Making you more conscientious of your unconscious thought patterns, when you become away of them and recognise them then you can change them.
  • A pragmatic discussion around veganism, being plant based and large scale reduction of meat and dairy consumption for your health
  • How fatherhood has impacted his life and is now a huge motivator for how he lives his life. Chris also tells us about how beneficial a plant based diet has been for his son’s development.
  • His future plans and projects

Much of today’s episode contains guidance that can be applied to any area of your life that you want to make improvements in. The first step is taking small steps in that direction which will all add up to great change.
