#8 Chase Armitage – Embrace Fear And Fully Commit To What You Believe In

The Pursuit of Enhancement Podcast Episode 8

Welcome to Episode 8 of  The Pursuit of Enhancement Podcast.

My name is Peter Ledwidge and I am your host.

Each week I sit down to talk in-depth with guests that push the boundaries of conventional living, driven by the singular pursuit of being on an unrelenting quest to continually expand the horizons of their body, mind and spirit.

The aim is to learn more about them and from them; their story, the work they are doing, the highs, the lows, the triumphs, the heartaches and everything in between.

The hope is that these conversations might spark something within you that gives you cause for self-reflection, inspires you to embark on your own journey of self-discovery or gives you the courage to take a chance and go after your goals.

Chase Armitage

This week is Episode 8 and I’m joined, from the UK, by the Motivational and Inspirational Chase Armitage; plant based Parkour athlete and action stunt man, traveling the World searching for those life level ups.

Chase’s accolades and achievements include

Business owner

Parkour athlete

Action movie star

Martial Arts champion

And Guinness World Record Holder

Chase has been pushing the arts of Parkour and Free Running since they first came to the UK over 15 years ago. He is known as a pioneer in the sport and has shared inspiration across the globe through his personal and professional projects.

With a strong background in Chinese martial arts, a British champion multiple times competing around the world, he also has the Guinness world record for the farthest back flip off a wall, over a moving car!

Student of Movement

Chase considers himself a student to all types of movement, anything that will better his performance and understanding of action cinema. He has trained and worked with some of the worlds top stunt men and developed a deep understanding of Stunts for cinema and how to get the most from each and every shot.

Not only is he an action actor, parkour athlete and choreographer, he also directs short films and tv commercials that have racked up over 40 million views on Youtube and been nominated for multiple awards.

Student of The Universe

There is of course much more to Chase than meets the eye. Not only a student of movement Chase is also a student of the Universe. Just as he strives to get the most from every shot he also strives to get the most from his mind and body each and every day. As a vegan athlete he is always looking to improve his performance and get more out of life through yoga, meditation and other modalities that will help him grow and unlock more of his innate potential.

Chase is a shining example of how, with hard work and dedication anything is possible, you can achieve all of your dreams just as he has. From meeting Jackie Chan and Will Smith, starring in blockbuster movies, winning a Guinness World Record, travelling the world, finding his soulmate and living in abundance.

In This Week’s Episode

In the episode we talk about

-His beginnings, his unwavering self-belief never wanting to work a conventional job at the cost of his dreams, quitting his job to follow his dreams and taking life into his own hands

-Motivation; where does he get his dtrong motivation and how to develop it

– Listening to your body, respecting it, treating it right, self care and self maintenance,

– His plant based, vegan journey, reconnecting with nature and our natural flow

– Balanced and conscious relationships and helping each other to be the best versions of themselves.

I absolutely loved this conversation with Chase. A bit of a shorter episode today because Chase had to head of to get ready for his next show. He is currently part of the Fast And Furious Live shows.
